• ‘Our Fair Share’ Town Hall is an informal, informative welcome to Kern County’s redistricting process, is Monday, Nov. 1, 6:30 p.m., Frazier Mountain Park community building. Bring your questions, your “wish list” of what basic community services and amenities you want our supervisor to advocate for and your curiosity about this important, once-per-decade process that is happening now.

• Are you interested in taking part in Frazier Park Library’s Trunk or Treat? This traditional event is Saturday, Oct. 30, 12–3 p.m., and it is tons of fun. • SpeakEasy Theater is back with the premiere of ‘Sarah’s Last Day,’ Nov. 4–6 and 12–14, at the Pine Mountain Clubhouse (2524 Beechwood Way). Show times are 7:30 p.m. each night, with a 2 p.m. matinee on November 14. Buy tickets at the PMCPOA office for $10 per person.

• Frontier Army Days at historic Fort Tejon is Saturday, Nov. 6, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. at Fort Tejon State Historic Park (4201 Fort Tejon Road, Lebec). Experience first-hand the lives of Dragoon Soldiers and civilians in authentic period clothes at beautiful and historic Fort Tejon.

* The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in PMC is Friday, Nov. 25, 6 p.m. sharp, with hot chocolate and Christmas cookies in the clubhouse parking lot at 5:45 p.m. Join in the caroling fun and experience the thrill of holiday lights popping on. Masks are preferred.
