• See “The Nightmare Before Christmas” performed by In The Wings Studio of Dance, 5 p.m. at Frazier Mountain High School’s cafetorium (700 Falcon Way, Lebec). Tickets are $11 for general admission or $13 at the door.
• Lockwood Hillbillies (Shawn and Petra) entertain with live music at La Sierra Mexican Restaurant, 5:30 p.m. (3500 Mt. Pinos Way, FP). This local band is notorious for lively music and lots of laughs. See ad on page 2 for details.

• Frazier Park Library hosts the Kern County Food Drive, now through December 30, presented by the Golden Empire Gleaners. Donate canned foods, hot and cold cereals and water or juices to Frazier Park Library. Donations help feed thousands of people throughout Kern County during the holiday season. • Mountain Communities Family Resource Center is accepting applications for Toys for Tots and Gifts for Teens, now through December 2. Complete an application at the MCFRC office (3015 Mt. • The last day to submit photos for the Mountain Youth Photo contest is Friday, December 30. Submissions must be accompanied by the signed form, which can be found on page 7 of The Mountain Enterprise. This contest is for ages 6–18. The awards ceremony will be held Jan. 14, 2023.
