• The last day to submit for Kern Community Foundation’s Kern Futures Scholarship is today. Graduating high school seniors planning to attend college, university or an accredited technical school are encouraged to apply. • Join the Mountain Communities Family Resource Center for Children’s Circle, 11 a.m.–12 p.m. at MCFRC (3015 Mt. Pinos Way, Suite 202., FP). • The AARP Frazier Park Chapter Senior Exercise program continues every Monday and Thursday, 11 a.m.–noon. This program is held at the Frazier Park Community Center (3801 Park Dr., FP). For questions, call Beth Gomez at 661.245.5472.

• Pine Mountain Club Property Owners Association Special Open Draft Budget Meeting is Saturday, March 11, 10 a.m. in the Condor Room (2524 Beechwood Way, PMC). This meeting with the Board of Directors is to discuss the draft of the new budget.

• Watch “Princess Bride” outdoors for free at Cinema Under the Stars, an event held at The Outlets At Tejon, Saturday, March 11. Shop at the outside mall then stay for the free movie. Concessions will be provided by League of Dreams.

• Frazier Mountain High School will host a Career Fair, Wednesday, March 15, 8:30–10:30 a.m. Anyone interested in representing their career, college or university can contact Lee Bizzini at FMHS (661.248.0310) for more information on how to participate.

• Listen to WyndSong, performing easy listening and dance music at the Condor Lounge, Saturday, March 18, 7-11 p.m. WyndSong is a musical group comprise of Jennifer and Roger Wynfield, with Debbie Lowe.

• Attend the Community Town Hall on Fire Preparedness at the Condor Lounge, Saturday, March 25, 10 a.m. Firefighters from station 58 and Los Padres National Forest will discuss hazard clearance and take questions.

• Have you gotten your Resident Permit yet? Permits can help you get past those winter road closures. When CHP sets up the snow visitor chain check line, you can be waved through if you display one for the current year. Permits are issued by Mountain Communities Chamber of Commerce and they are available for $6 each with proof of residence and can be found at the following locations:
