• Fiesta Daze returns for it’s 55th year tonight at Frazier Mountain Community Park. This beloved annual fiesta will return Saturday and Sunday, August 6 and 7 so grab your kids, your neighbor and your dog and head over to the park for a weekend of fun! See spotlight for details.

• The Friends of the Library Book Sale will be epic this month! This season’s sale begins for members only today, 11 a.m.–6 p.m. The sale will continue for the public Wednesday and Thursday, 11a.m.–6 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.–4 p.m. for the Buck-a-Bag event. • Instead of being heartbroken over lost or escaped pets, get them microchipped for free! The next vaccine and microchip clinic is today, 8–11 a.m. You must be an unincorporated county resident to qualify. • Join the Pine Mountain Club Meditation Group every Monday at noon in the Condor Room in PMC (2524 Beechwood Way, PMC). This class is free to attend, but donations are appreciated.
