•Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training starts today at 8 a.m. (at the at the PMC clubhouse at Mil Potrero Highway and 2524 Beechwood Way). The 20-hour class continues on Saturdays, Oct. 25 and Nov. 8. No walk-ins; registered students only.

Festival of Books – Saturday, October 18 – Ghost Walk at Fort Tejon
•The 5th Annual Rotary Club’s Festival of Books is a fun day for kids to hear stories, see favorite story characters, enjoy games, crafts, clowns and receive free books—all to spark the love of reading.
