Update on Tuesday morning power outage

GORMAN, LEBEC, FRAZIER PARK, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 11:29 a.m.)—A power outage this morning at 9:21 a.m. was caused by “failed overhead equipment at Gorman Post Road east of Salt Lick Trail,” according to Southern California Edison spokesperson Mary Ann Milbourn. Over 5,000 customers were affected from Gorman, Lebec, and Frazier Park through Lake of the Woods Cuddy Valley Piñon Pines and Pine Mountain Club. The reason for the overhead equipment failure is unknown at this time, Milbourn said.
