FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CA (Monday, Dec. 30, 2019 at 8:32 a.m.)—Hudson Ranch Road remains closed from Mil Potrero Highway down to Klipstein Canyon Road due to snow and ice.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CA (Monday, Dec. 30, 2019 at 7:22 a.m.)—I-5 is open over the Grapevine.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CUDDY VALLEY, LAKE OF THE WOODS, LOCKWOOD VALLEY, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 at 2:44 p.m.)—PMCPOA reports that  several cars on Mil Potrero have spun out. They say they are waiting on CHP to clear the road. Please note, at this time of year, melted snow often starts to glaze over and turn to ice starting shortly after 3 p.m. Please be careful about both driving AND walking this afternoon. Have your chains or traction devices on. Drive slowly.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CUDDY VALLEY, LAKE OF THE WOODS, LOCKWOOD VALLEY, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 at 10:59 a.m.)—CHP is now escorting vehicles northbound and southbound over the Grapevine.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CUDDY VALLEY, LAKE OF THE WOODS, LOCKWOOD VALLEY, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 at 10:45 a.m.)—Mil Potrero Highway in and out of PMC, is covered with two inches of ice. Motorists are advised not to try traveling in or out of PMC.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CUDDY VALLEY, LAKE OF THE WOODS, LOCKWOOD VALLEY, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 at 8:27 a.m.)—CHP Fort Tejon Office told The Mountain Enterprise that there is no estimate of time for opening Interstate 5.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CUDDY VALLEY, LAKE OF THE WOODS, LOCKWOOD VALLEY, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 at 8:02 a.m.)—Caltrans is working to deice the road surface near I-5 and SR-138 before Interstate 5 can be opened.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CUDDY VALLEY, LAKE OF THE WOODS, LOCKWOOD VALLEY, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 at 5:02 a.m.)—Interstate 5 over the Grapevine is still closed. It has been closed since Christmas evening. The snowing has stopped, so plowing and cindering operations will be able to get underway today. Road conditions are icy and temperatures are below freezing—as low as 18ª.  Please drive carefully and slowly. Later today, sun is expected, but  temperatures are still below freezing and conditions will stay icy.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CA (Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019 at 9:55 p.m.)—Interstate 5 is still closed over the Grapevine.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CA (Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.)—A fatality reported this morning on southbound Interstate 5 just north of Frazier Mountain Park Road was not related to any traffic collision. Fort Tejon CHP Officer Bey said the big rig driver had pulled to the shoulder of the road last night, climbed into the sleeper cab and was found deceased this morning.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CA (Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019 at 6:39 a.m.)—Interstate 5 (The Grapevine) is closed in north and south directions due to snow. The northbound side is closed at Parker Road in Castaic. The southbound side is closed at Grapevine. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes until Caltrans can clear the roadway.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CUDDY VALLEY, LAKE OF THE WOODS, LOCKWOOD VALLEY, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019 at 9:35 p.m.)—Mt. Pinos Road (leading to the top of Mt. Pinos) and Hudson Ranch Road (west of Pine Mountain Club) have both been closed due to snow and ice conditions.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CUDDY VALLEY, LAKE OF THE WOODS, LOCKWOOD VALLEY, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019 at 11:40 a.m.)—Mt. Pinos Road (leading to the top of Mt. Pinos) is open. Chains are required to drive this road.

FRAZIER PARK, LEBEC, CUDDY VALLEY, LAKE OF THE WOODS, LOCKWOOD VALLEY, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019 at 7:37 p.m.)—Mt. Pinos Road (leading to the top of Mt. Pinos) is closed at the first snow gate due to snow and ice conditions.
