Last week, in the story “Dumping questioned,” [April 1, 2016] Neenach residents complained about noxious odors and blowing dust from piles of mulch being dumped on residential property. We looked into it and received this letter, with a description of a ‘Community Mulch Project’ sponsored in part by the Oso Town Council. The president said it has been discussed at the council meetings. The next one is Thursday, April 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Omstar Plaza Community Center.—Patric Hedlund, Editor

Dear Editor:

In response to your e-mail, I do in fact use the mulch on my property. So far, it has worked wonders for my pomegranate trees, as they seem to be growing healthier and faster than before.
Our poppies are also flourishing. We now have much taller and fuller poppies at…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
