Voters don’t know enough to decide, elected PMC director says

Statements about voter ignorance by an elected director; families anxious about taking a debt-free property owners association into over a million dollars in debt; and concern about the basic amenity of safe access to roads were highlights of the Pine Mountain Club Property Owners Association’s January board meeting.

Plowing and public safety

Members were shocked January 18 when Board Chair Bill Lewis and General Manager Karin Shulman said that emergency response teams had been called to the home of longtime resident, former board chair and fabric artist Mary Hansen on Thursday, Jan. 16.
