Wanted: Public input on Master Plan for Frazier Mountain Park

Attendance was light July 30 at a meeting on creating a Frazier Mountain Park Master Plan, but the positive ideas from those who were able to do a quick pivot in schedule to attend made up for it.

Bob Lerude, director of the Kern County Parks Department, apologized to the community about the late notice for the event and set a date for the next meeting: Thursday, Aug. 27, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Frazier Mountain Park Community Center.

Kimberlee Goddard came prepared with ideas for playground improvements and exercise equipment. Debbie Turner seeks agreements to hold activities in the park more easily.
