Piñon, Pines resident Eric Anderson, a cinematographer, is sounding an alert about a letter he received from Kern County’s Planning Department, about a project that seeks to waive part of the Frazier Park/Lebec Specific Plan, so a three-acre parcel can be rezoned for a 5,000 square foot warehouse at 1937 Frazier Mountain Park Road. That is between Martin’s Garage and Frazier Park. It is along the corridor that Anderson calls “The Gateway To Our Mountain Community.”

As a member of the former Mountain Community Town Council, Anderson recalls how local residents worked with county planners in 2002-2003 to define the Frazier Park/Lebec Specific Plan.

Now he is a member of the TriCounty Watchdogs, which sent a letter to…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
