INCIDENT COMPLETED: Water line breaks in Frazier Park—a crew is working to repair it

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Saturday, April 26, 2020 at 6:46 a.m.)—The water line leak on Manita Trail was repaired Saturday night. The Manita Trail road surface has been graded so residents can drive to their homes. Dirt and gravel remain on parts of Los Padres Drive.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 7:05 p.m.)—The water line has continued to burst each time the repair crew repairs it, according to FPPUD employee, Shaun England. “We’ve repaired it several times in a 10 foot section and it just keeps bursting,” England said. England and another FPPUD employee, Arthur Wilson, have been working to fix the water line.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 11:06 a.m.)—A water line on Manita Trail broke overnight and by 10 a.m. had gushed about 100,000 gallons onto Los Padres Drive and down toward Mt Pinos Way. Frazier Park Public Utility District employee Shaun England said a nearby resident discovered water running down Manita Trail at about 5 a.m. today. England said repairs should be done soon.
