Winter precipitation is falling short and meager dusting of snow in Mountain Communities makes drought’s return likely

Over at Frazier Park’s Ace Hardware on Friday we heard rumors that 16 inches of snow might be headed our way. In the Pine Mountain community many changed their weekend plans so they wouldn’t get caught by road closures on the Grapevine or at the Mil Potrero “Y.” Instead of going out, families brought in the firewood.
