Workshop on Grapevine development set for June 28, 6-8 p.m. in Bakersfield

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 9 a.m.)— The Kern County Planning Department has just released information that they will hold a workshop for the public on the proposed Grapevine housing development that Tejon Ranch Company seeks to build along Interstate 5 at the northern base of the Grapevine.

The meeting is Tuesday, June 28, 2016, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the County of Kern Public Services Building located at 2700 ‘M’ Street,  Bakersfield, CA 93301

The Tejon Ranch Company plan calls for 12,000 to 14,000 new homes, along with commercial-industrial development, built in phases. That could bring an estimated 40,000 new residents to the area.
