A restraining order was served on a Ventura County church August 7, forbidding Godspeak Calvary Chapel from holding large worship services indoors. The pastor of that church, Rob McCoy—a former candidate for state assembly—said he would ignore the order.

‘Heart Telling Me To Be Wise’

Here on the mountain, Pastor Phil Wallace was ahead of that curve, with a message of soul-searching. On July 12 he told his Frazier Mountain Community Church by YouTube about his own troubled meditations on such gatherings.

Though it saddened him, Wallace said, “my heart is telling me to be wise.”
