CoEco Ambassadors Club invites kids to discover Nature’s secrets

One fun afternoon can lead to a lifetime of adventure. CoEco Ambassadors is a new club by The Earth Organization, right here in Pine Mountain Village. It is opening a new section for kids 7 to 10 years of age.

On Saturday, April 2, 2-3:30 p.m., families with adventurous children who love smart animals and solving mysteries are invited to learn to use their superpowers to discover the links between intelligent animals, our amazing planet and Mother Nature’s secrets.

The event is structured with a combination of activities and storytelling, inside and outdoors. It is like a Detective Academy for kids. You may start with a parrot who calls himself Albert Dishwasher (“Dish” for short) because he has a sense of humor. He likes children and their constant “Why?” questions.

That is mixed with spicy stories, such as one about a friendship between a herd of rogue elephants in South Africa and Lawrence Anthony, the co-founder of The Earth Organization.

Abby and Ollie became thoughtful as they wrote ways that their moms help them, and then ways they help their moms. Zach wrote his list as Iris Hopkins began to think about all the ways Mother Nature helps us.
