Armed Robbery Suspects Named-Public Asked for Help

UPDATE, LEBEC (August 12, 2011 5 p.m.)—There are reports that the 1997 Chevy S-10 Blazer used in this crime has been found up Landfill Road in Lebec early this evening. The license plates were stripped off, according to Sgt. Mark Brown of the Frazier Park substation.

Anyone with information that could lead to the whereabouts of these individuals is asked to please call the Kern County Sheriff’s Department at 661-861-3110, or Secret Witness at 661-322-4040, or to text an anonymous crime tip to TIP411 (847411). FRAZIER PARK (August 11, 2011 at 11 a.m.)—Three suspects have been named in an armed robbery that occurred Sunday, Aug. 7 in the 3600 block of Arroyo Trail, in Frazier Park.

Kern County Sheriff Sergeant Mark Brown reports that the robbery took place at about 8:15 p.m. The male victim told deputies that two white males—one with tattoos on his face—had threatened him with a knife. The suspects took personal property and fled east on Frazier Mountain Park Road in a maroon 1997 Chevy S-10 Blazer, license plate number 4MUP277. They were possibly seen with this vehicle in Lebec on Tuesday, Aug. 9.

The suspects are reported to be:
• Timothy Gray, 33 of Bakersfield, white male, 6 feet, 200 pounds, hazel eyes; probable cause to arrest for robbery, false imprisonment and conspiracy;
• Chris Houstachenko, 28 of Arroyo Trail in Frazier Park, 5 feet, 7 inches, 280 lbs., blonde hair, blue eyes, wanted on same charges;
• Tara Hunt, 29 of Bakersfield, 5 feet, 9 inches, 200 lbs., red hair, brown eyes, probable cause to arrest for robbery, conspiracy and burglary.
