LEBEC, CA (Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 at 2:58 p.m.)—The evacuation warning has been lifted for the Mesa fire.

LEBEC, CA (Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 at 2:40 p.m.)—An evacuation warning has been established for homes in the Cuddy Canyon and Mesa Verde area due to the Mesa fire.

LEBEC, CA (Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 at 1:49 p.m.)—A brush fire burning in the Cuddy Canyon area of Lebec has prompted calls for air tankers and has all local engines on scene, including Stations 56, 57 and 58. Ventura County patrols are also on scene. The fire is reported to be about three acres at this time and winds are pushing it to the northwest. Several homes are threatened and crews are providing structure protection.
