Carpool Forming for Planning Commission Hearing on Frazier Park Estates

Carpools are being formed for Mountain Community residents to attend the Kern County Planning Commission hearing Thursday, Aug. 27 in Bakersfield. The commission will hear from the public regarding an application to change the Lebec Specific Plan in order to build 620 homes around Frazier Mountain High School and 32 acres of commercial development near Flying J.
Cornerstone Engineering has submitted the application on behalf of Fallingstar homes.

This email was circulated by the NIMBY listserv:

"Ride sharing to the Planning Commission in Bakersfield on Thursday, August 27, departs from the PMCPOA parking lot
at 5:15 p.m. and from the Flying J Parking lot at 5:45 p.m.

"If you plan to go and have seats to share, or if you want want to catch a ride, please let Mary Ann Lockhart at 242-0432
know. Just showing up is fine as well.

"Of course if you want to go and have plans to speak, that’s even better. Speaking time is 2-3 minutes per person."
