Clean-Up Party Set for August 22 in Frazier Park

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10:40 a.m.) –By Patric Hedlund—A community clean-up for Frazier Park is set for Saturday Aug. 22.

Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. for a safety briefing and to receive supplies at Frazier Mountain Park’s parking lot. Teams will be assigned clean up areas, said District 4 Supervisor David Couch’s aide Ryan Shultz. The focus will be on Mt. Pinos Way along the business district.

Teams will finish at 12 noon. Lunch will be hosted by National Cement Corporation.  All volunteers will meet at Caveman Cavey’s after the clean up.

Additional sponsors include Mountainside Disposal that will dispose of the filled bags; water from Fastenal; gloves and bags by Kern County Waste Management’s Keep Kern Clean Program; and the Mountain Community Chamber of Commerce. Please RSVP to Shultz (661.868.3680 or shultzr@co.kern.ca.us)
