FRAZIER PARK, CA (Friday, June 30, 2023, at 8:13 a.m.)—Kern County will open its cooling center at Frazier Park Library (SIDE DOOR) from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday because the temperature is forecast to be 93° and 94° respectively on those days. Kern County has said it will open the cooling center in Frazier Park on any day that was forecast the prior day by 11 a.m. to be 93° or higher. When approaching the front door, go left around the building to the open side door.
