Update: PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Monday, Sept.18, 2014 at 3 p.m.)—
County of Kern Road Maintenance crews are working to seal Mil Potrero Highway this month.  It will be striped upon completion, staff for Supervisor David Couch said today.

PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 at 1:05 p.m.)—Kern County Roads Department has begun roadwork on Mil Potrero Highway and advised the public to expect “long delays.” At 9 a.m. this morning, the delay was about 5 minutes between Yellowstone Dr. and the Y as Kern County road crews applied a surface treatment to the westbound lane.
