Fire Damages Home in Frazier Park

FRAZIER PARK-(Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, 10 a.m.)—There was a fire at 953 Walnut Trail, reported at 7:48 p.m. on Friday Oct. 22. According to Captain Tony Martinez of the Kern County Fire Department, the back porch was involved at the home when KCFD responded. The home became 50 percent involved, Martinez said.

"There were no injuries and the residents are staying with other [local] family members," Martinez reported. He said four engines and 12 personnel responded, including Frazier Park #57, Lebec #56 and Mettler # 55. Martinez is checking to send an update regarding the fourth engine.
