FRAZIER PARK, CA (Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 at 10:45 p.m.)—Fire broke out in a house at Elliot and Mead Trails, south of Mt. Pinos Way at about 10 p.m. Neighbors told The Mountain Enterprise that few people have seen anyone living in the house since the 1970s. “It might be a weekender house,” Joe Flores said. Firefighters reported that fire hydrants in the area were not working. The temperature at the scene was 19 degrees at 10:30 p.m. Radio traffic about the incident included reports of two people possibly running from the scene just after the fire broke out. Kern County firefighters had the flames knocked down within about 40 minutes.
