Pleasant surprise! We had around a dozen cars on the first Frazier Mountain Cruise Night. If you missed the first event, be sure to join us this Friday, Sept. 19 as there are a lot more classic and original cars on the hill. Dust them off and join us from 5 p.m. ‘til everyone decides to go home.

The evening was pleasant September 5 and the cars started rolling into the parking lot beside Dream Castle Cafe and Bakery just after 5 p.m. By 6:30 we had a good dozen cars. Several people stopped by and said they would be there for the next one.

Some of the first were Eli Meigs’ 1937 Chevrolet, John Herrel’s 1970 1/2 Z28RX Camero, Elmo Arrigo’s 1956 T-Bird Convertible, Steve Anderson’s 1931 Ford Coupe, Joe Peterson’s 1946 Ford, Geri Peterson’s 1949 Oldsmobile, Ron Hawk’s 1965 Impala, Tod Harding’s two 1965 Pontiac GTO Convertibles, Kevin Lundin’s 1969 Roadrunner and Chuck Noble’s 1954 Chevrolet.

We had a couple of late comers that I missed. Everyone had a great time and was happy to have a place where they did not have to drive off the hill to get together.

In the coming month, we plan to gather on both Friday, Oct. 3 and Oct. 17 and continue as long as the weather stays nice.
