Free Childhood Immunizations Offered at Frazier Park School Campus

Frazier Park, CA (July 11, 2011 at 6:20 p.m.)—El Tejon Unified School District Superintendent Katie Kleier is alerting parents that pertussis (whooping cough) vaccinations will be necessary for children returning to school for the new school year. Militsa Brennan reported this afternoon, July 11, that on Monday August 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. San Joaquin Hospital staff will be at Frazier Park School to provide free immunizations for ages zero through 18. Children must have their immunization cards with them when they come. See the "Free Immunizations" ad in the July 15 print edition of The Mountain Enterprise on page 6.

The Frazier Mountain Health Fair, held Saturday, Aug. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. is being organized by Brennan and Lori Hallmark with sponsorship of the Southwest Health Care District and Mountain Memories Association. Girl Scout Troop 486 will assist as well. It will be held at Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church.
