The northbound I-5 Smokey Bear Road on- and off-ramps will be closed Monday, July 8, through Friday, July 26, 2013, while crews place new concrete pavement. For the Smokey Bear Road on-ramp closure, motorists may access northbound I-5 at the Vista Del Lago Road on-ramp. For the Smokey Bear Road off-ramp closure, alternate off-ramps are Quail Lake Road and Gorman Post Road.

ALTERNATE OFF-RAMPS – Quail Lake Road – Gorman Post Road

Caltrans is rehabilitating the lanes and outside shoulders of the Golden State Freeway (I-5) in both directions from just south of the Vista Del Lago Road overcrossing to the Kern County Line, a distance of 15.4 miles.
