INCIDENT COMPLETED: Interstate 5 big rig crash causes SIG alert – Lanes 1 and 2 now open

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024 at 2:15 p.m.)—A motorist told a CHP officer that thousands of vehicles were stuck and not moving.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024 at 10:25 a.m.)—Lanes 1 and 2 are open through the crash location. The #3 and #4 lanes remain closed.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024 at 8:50 a.m.)—Two big rigs collided on southbound I-5 just south of Smokey Bear Road at about 6:50 a.m. A SIG alert was issued and most recently updated at 8:46 a.m. stating that lanes 2, 3 and 4 would be closed for an unknown duration.
