LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 5:30 p.m.)—Kern County has open Mt. Pinos Road leading to the parking lot at the Nordic Base snow play area.

LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 7:05 a.m.)—CHP has discontinued escorts and the Grapevine is now open in both directions, north and south.

LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 5:30 a.m.)—The Grapevine is still icy. California Highway Patrol has begun escorting northbound and southbound traffic across the pass this morning.

LEBEC, CA (Monday, March 15, 2021 at 8:17 p.m.)—CHP has shut down I-5 north and south due to snowy roadway conditions. Southbound lanes were closed at Grapevine Road and northbound lanes were closed at Parker Road in Castaic.
