PINE MOUNTAIN, CA (Thursday, Dec. 27 at 3:23 p.m.)— This was submitted by Rick Throckmorton, who saw smoke and went to watch Kern County Firefighters from Station 58 on Thursday, Dec. 27 at about 3 p.m.

"It is unusual to see a prescribed burn going on during a snowstorm. This was right on the western edge of PMC, along Mil Potrero Highway," Throckmorton said.
