Questions about man with binoculars near Frazier Park School

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Thursday, May 2, 2013 at noon.)—Yesterday a letter went out to parents from Frazier Park School about an incident  that took place last Friday, April 26. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the campus to investigate a report about a man  seen about 100 feet away from the school, in a tree with binoculars.

An alert teacher spotted him and reported the event to the administrator. The man, The Mountain Enterprise was told, appeared to be bird watching in the chapparall area adjacent to the school. The man was gone when deputies arrived, but the letter to the parents from Principal Gretchen Skrotzki indicates that deputies are maintaining watch of the school’s perimeter.

Skrotzki said in the letter that the administration is bringing the event to the families’ attention so they are informed about what occurred and know that the matter has the attention of school personnel who are responsible for keeping the children safe.
