Ventucopa Man Dies in Vehicle Rollover

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Monday, July 4, 2011 at 2:10 p.m.)–The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the decedant as Edward Breedlove, 38 of Ventucopa.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Monday, July 4, 2011 at 9:40 a.m.)–A 38-year-old Ventucopa man was fatally injured after his 2005 GMC pickup truck rolled over several times on the west side of Highway 33, just south of Apache Canyon at about 10 p.m. Sunday evening. Apache Canyon is about five miles south of the town of Ventucopa. The CHP report follows:

On July 3, 2011, at approximately 10 p.m., a 38 year old male driver and solo occupant of a 2005 GMC pickup (name withheld pending notification to next of kin) was traveling northbound on SR-33, just south of Apache Canyon. For unknown reasons, he lost control of the pickup and left the roadway. The GMC overturned several times and came to rest in field west of the roadway. The driver was ejected from the GMC and sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
