FRAZIER PARK, CALIF. (Wednesday, May 12, 2010, 10:44 a.m.)—California Highway Patrol, Kern County Fire Department and Hall Ambulance are responding to a semi vs. semi rear-end collision on the southbound side of the I-5 at the Kern County and Los Angeles County line. The extent of any injuries to the drivers is currently unknown. Heavy smoke was reported to be coming from one semi. According to the CHP traffic incident website the #4 lane is blocked, with oil leaking on the road from one of the vehicles and sand is required. [Reported by Cat Buckles and Gary Meyer]
