FRAZIER MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES (Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, 1 p.m.)—The Perseids meteor display is expected to be spectacular on August 14 since the moon will not interfere as it did last year. The greatest part of the show is through August 14 but there are often meteors still to see afterward. Have a great summer viewing our beautiful skies and as amateur astronomers like to say to one another: “clear skies”!
This is part of the August 13, 2010 online edition of The Mountain Enterprise.
