CASTAIC, CA (Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016 at 8:35 a.m.)—A SIGalert for the northbound Interstate 5 just south of Vista Del Lago Road that went into effect at 5:35 a.m. has been extended to approximately 9 a.m., according to CHP Officer Tondreau. A traffic collision prompted the closure of lanes 1, 2 and 3. An earlier estimate of 7:30 a.m. had to be extended, according to Tondreau.
