LEBEC, CA (Friday, Oct. 11, 2019 at 8:40 a.m.)—Lebec County Water District has issued a mandatory conservation notice for the Lebec zone, which includes Circle Drive, North Drive, South Drive, Lebec Drive, Canyon Drive and homes in that area along Lebec Road.

Tanks serving the area have reached a critically low level. If the water lines lose pressure, homes in that area will be put on a boil water notice.

LCWD personnel are seeking to obtain a generator that will allow them to pump more water into the storage tank this afternoon. Conservation will still be necessary until power is restored.
