Former Frazier Park Doctor Loses Medical License

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 at 11 p.m.)–Former Frazier Park medical doctor John F. Grant lost his license to practice medicine in California on Friday, Sept. 2, according to the California Medical Board.

The medical board issued a decision in April of 2009 to revoke Grant’s license, but stayed the revocation and placed him on four years probation after an investigation into his medical record-keeping and practices of prescribing drugs. That decision was made effective in May of 2009. Now, only two years into his probation, Grant’s probation has been revoked and his medical license has been revoked. According to medical board filings, Grant’s medical license was revoked for his failure to comply with the terms of his probation.
