FRAZIER PARK and LEBEC, CA (Friday, Sept 2, 8 a.m.)—The new trustee for the El Tejon Unified School District Board is Stephan Kiouses of Lebec (husband of former El Tejon and Frazier Park Schools, Dena Kiouses). Kiouses has been working as a teacher in the Bakersfield area. The trustees who selected him from a field of four well-qualified candidates are Kenneth Hurst, Paula Regan, John Fleming and Anita Anderson. Also in the running were Bradford Olifer, Lawrence Skiba and Phyllis Throckmorton.

FRAZIER PARK and LEBEC, CA (Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011)—Four letters of interest have been submitted for the open spot on the El Tejon Unified School District Board of Trustees. Stephan Kiouses, Bradford Oliver, Lawrence Skiba and Phyllis Throckmorton have all expressed interest in the position.

Interviews of the candidates by the current members of the board will be held before the public at a meeting tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 6:30 p.m. in the conference room of the district office (just north of El Tejon School).
