LEBEC, CA (Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 at 10:14 p.m.)—Kern County Fire Department reports that the gas company is on-scene and has determined the gas leak posed no danger. See the report in The Mountain Enterprise Thursday morning.

LEBEC, CA (Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 at 9:19 p.m.)—A gas leak was reported just before 9 p.m. in the area of Lebec Oaks Road about a quarter mile west of Lebec Road, near the large Mobil oil tanks.

Kern County Fire Department Engine 56 is on-scene, has marked the leak and is awaiting the arrival of gas company personnel for repairs.
