Breaking News: Woman flown to hospital after accident
LAKE OF THE WOODS, CA (Friday, May 3, 2013 at 3:45 p.m.)—A woman who was a passenger in a vehicle with her daughter and granddaughter was transported to the medevac helipad in Lebec with moderate to major injuries. Their vehicle was rear-ended by a Ford F-350 on Friday, May 3 just after 3 p.m. The driver of the Ford said he’d had a sneezing attack just before the accident. Breaking News: Frazier Mtn Park Road on-ramp and Gorman southbound off-ramp now open
GORMAN, CA (Friday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m.) — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) plans to close the lanes, ramps and connectors listed below as part of a $100.1 million pavement improvement project on the Golden State Freeway (I-5) between Vista Del Lago Road and the Kern County line. Closures are subject to change.
Closures for this project had been suspended for the winter and have recently begun again. Motorists should expect regular closures at multiple locations in the project area through November 2013.
NOW OPEN: The southbound I-5 Gorman Road off-ramp and
southbound I-5 Frazier Mountain Park Road on-ramp have been reopened.
Breaking News: Questions about man with binoculars near Frazier Park School
FRAZIER PARK, CA (Thursday, May 2, 2013 at noon.)—Yesterday a letter went out to parents from Frazier Park School about an incident that took place last Friday, April 26. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the campus to investigate a report about a man seen about 100 feet away from the school, in a tree with binoculars.
