County tells Bakersfield its policy is causing increase in abandoned animals

BAKERSFIELD, CA (Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2012)—Today, the Kern County Board of Supervisors, represented by Supervisor Maggard, released a letter to the City of Bakersfield expressing concerns that city policies will result in an uptick in the number of animals being abandoned in the streets. Here is the letter:
